Rhetorics of Power

“Power is everywhere; not because it embodies everything, but because it comes from everywhere” – Michel Foucault

The project “Rhetorics of Power” presents work in a variety of media by six artists from Russia and Norway. Within the space of the exhibition, in the Main Hall of the museum, the artists are invited to construct alternative interpretations of the phenomenon of “power”, which in turn invite the viewer to gaze upon this complicated phenomenon from varying philosophical, socio-political, and cultural perspectives.
